A Bit About Us
Committed to Serving the Community
At Newfield Terrace Community Center (NTCC), we are committed to enhancing the lives of members in the community through our wide range of activities and events. Over the years, we have been recognized as the leading community center and go the extra mile to make sure our members are happy with our services.
Since opening our doors to the community in 1977, we have provided members the chance to get together and experience what we’re all about. Our mission has always been to provide a cultural and educational experience for members of the Newfield (Gloucester County) community — and we’ve done everything we can to achieve this goal to this very day.

After-School Enrichment
Welcome to the Newfield Terrace Community Youth Enrichment Program (NTCYEP)! For over 30 years, we have proudly served the youth of Franklin Township, NJ, providing invaluable opportunities for growth through community service projects, social-emotional workshops, academic support, and healthy meals. With the changing dynamics of schooling, the use of online apps, we are shifting our focus to learning through enrichment and family bonding, including monthly family engagement activities. We also prioritize serving our community, ensuring that our efforts positively impact those around us.
In addition, we are excited to introduce gardening initiatives that allow youth to learn about sustainability while working to beautify our neighborhood. Our program also emphasizes cultural exploration and expression through travel, helping participants gain new perspectives and appreciation for diverse cultures. As we look to expand our services, we aim to enhance the learning experience for even more youth in our community. Join us in making a difference!

NTCAO Board Members
The Newfield Terrace Community Center Board is committed to the development, management, maintenance, and promotion of the Community Center Building and its programs. Board members are responsible for setting rules and policies to direct the center’s growth and operations. The board consists of a minimum of 10 members, each serving two-year term. We invite all community members to get involved and participate in our organization. Meetings are held monthly or bi-monthly on the third Monday at 6:00 pm.

Food Assistance
After COVID-19, community was hit hard, and many are still trying to recover. In response to these challenges, our dedicated staff works tirelessly to accept food deliveries and manage pickups for the pantry, ensuring that resources are available to those in need. We focus on providing boxes and bags of food to unhoused families in transitional housing, helping to navigate this difficult period with essential support. We believe in the spirit of community and warmly welcome volunteers to join us in our mission. Together, we can make a difference and help our neighbors rebuild their lives, fostering a stronger and more resilient community for everyone. If you're interested in making an impact, we’d love to have you on board!
